01Composition and form
BioSelenSink is a dietary supplement made by Doktor Ulug'bek. It is not a medicine and is sold without a prescription.
One capsule (300 mg) contains 8 mg of selenomethionine (equal to 80 mcg of selenium), 30 mg of zinc lactate and 40 mg of ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Other ingredients: starch, maltodextrin, sucrose, calcium stearate.
Form: 30 capsules in a bottle.
02What it contains
Selenium comes as selenomethionine, its most bioavailable organic form. Selenium is part of hormones and more than 200 enzymes; it takes part in clearing toxins in the liver, in nourishing muscles, the heart and blood vessels, and in forming joints, skin, hair and nails; it is an antioxidant and supports the immune system.
Zinc takes part in some 200 enzyme reactions and is needed for immunity, normal development of bones, hair and nails, vision and insulin production.
Vitamin C supports metabolism, collagen synthesis, tissue repair and the body's resilience.
03What it is for
According to the leaflet, BioSelenSink is taken as a dietary supplement to make up for a shortage of zinc, selenium and vitamin C.
This is a dietary supplement; it does not replace treatment prescribed by a doctor.
04How to take it
Adults: 1 capsule once a day. For more intensive use: 2 capsules a day, in 1 or 2 doses.
Children from 10: 1 capsule once a day.
Take the capsule with water, with or before a meal. With signs of zinc and selenium shortage, it is best taken for at least 2-3 months.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. How often and how long to take it may change on a specialist's advice.
05Contraindications
Individual intolerance (allergy) to the ingredients, children under 10.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, only with great care and on a doctor's advice. Children from 10 must see a doctor before taking it.
06Side effects
Side effects are very rare and take the form of allergic reactions. At the recommended dose they are very unlikely; if any appear, see a doctor.
No cases of overdose have been reported.
07Storage and shelf life
Store in a dry place, away from light and out of the reach of children, at no more than 25 °C.
